שלמה ארצי עם המגבת, צביקה פיק עם בגדי שנות ה-70 ושושנה דמארי עם הלוק המלכותי.
אבל הם לא תמיד נראו ככה. הם עברו מסע ארוך שבמהלכו הם 'גיבשו' את זהותם הבימתית. פעם הם היו זמרים מתחילים, נרגשים, מפוחדים. וכמונו גם הם עברו דרך הטרנדים של עולם האופנה בתקופות השונות, עברו שינויים, התבגרו, השתנו.
הקסם של הספרייה, של ארכיון התמונות, מאפשר לנו להציץ מחדש בעבר ולהחיות לרגע תקופות בחיי זמר או זמרת, ולראות את השינויים שעברו בחלוף השנים.
הצלם דן הדני שהפעיל סוכנות צילום, תיעד במשך שנים ארוכות את מדינת ישראל, את החדשות ואת האירועים. אנחנו גאים להציג בפניכם גלריה קטנה מתצלומיו שחושפת רגעים מהקריירה של גדולי הזמרים, הזמרות, היוצרים והיוצרות הישראליים, בתקופות שונות בחייהם.

"The corner stone was laid today of the Palmach museum near Tel Aviv University in the north of the city. The Palmach was formed in 1941 mainly from the left wing kibbutz movement. The establishment of the Palmach came about by the need of the Jewish settlements to protect themselves from continual Arab attack. The Palmach had at its early members some of the most illustrious names in the history of modern Israel, such as Itzhak Sade, Yigael Allon and Itzhak Rabin. The Palmach was disbanded as a separate organisation when it merged with the IDF in November 1948, following the establishment of the State. The new museum, apart from retelling the story of the Palmach with a permanent exhibition,will have study and educaional facilities. The new complex is expected to be open in three years time.". הפרוייקט המרגש הזה נעשה במסגרת שיתוף הפעולה בין הספרייה הלאומית ופייסבוק ישראל לרגל שנת ה-70 של מדינת ישראל. חומרים ארכיוניים, צילומים וסרטי וידאו היסטוריים, שטרם נחשפו יעברו תהליכי דיגיטציה בסיוע ומימון פייסבוק ויונגשו לראשונה לציבור הרחב ולמיליוני המשתמשים ברשת החברתית בישראל.
הצילומים, כתבי היד והסרטים יוצגו בעמוד הפייסבוק של הספרייה הלאומית ויאפשרו לכל אחד ואחת לחוות ולשתף רגעים מרגשים ומיוחדים משנותיה הראשונות של המדינה, כפי שנתפסו בעדשות המצלמה של בכירי הצלמים שפעלו בעשורים הראשונים והמאוחרים יותר של מדינת ישראל, בין אם מדובר באמנים ויוצרים, בנופי הארץ, באירועים מכוננים בתולדות המדינה או בחיי היומיום של הישראלים.
