Chava Levine shares a bit of what she learned from working on the personal archive of Professor Dov Noy, who was described as “the world’s foremost Jewish folklorist”. The archive is now deposited at the National Library of Israel.

When Chava Levine is not working on the Dov Noy archive, she can similarly be found roaming the halls of the Hebrew University completing her MA in Folklore; traveling the world via backpack; learning organic gardening in Slovenia; goat-herding in Bulgaria; or baking in Israel. She hopes to one day have as many acquaintances as Dov Noy, and is working on bringing back letter writing.
