Shay Eshel
Shay Eshel is a librarian in the Humanities Collection at the National Library of Israel. He has a PhD in Byzantine history and is a professional translator. His translations include "The Alexiad" by Anna Komnene, which he translated from Greek into Hebrew. Shay's work focuses on the various connections between Greek and Jewish culture - from antiquity, through the Middle Ages and to this very day.
