Samuel Thrope is the Content Manager for the Maktoub digitization project at the National Library of Israel. His work has been published in The Nation, Haaretz, Aeon, The Times of Israel, and elsewhere, and his is the former Deputy Managing Editor for the Jerusalem Post. He is the translator, with Domenico Agostini, of the Zoroastrian creation myth the Bundahisn, forthcoming with Oxford University Press.
